Hi thanks for the reply to the previous post, I have now managed to get it to leak again with the under guard removed the engine temperature comes up and stays normal without rising, even when stationary (the electric fan cuts in) so I think the thermostat is probably functioning as well as the electric switch. However I can now see water dripping onto and running down the passenger side intercooler/pipes. Am I right in thinking that the one radiator hose returns along the bottom of the rad to the passenger side of the engine, or could this still be the pressure relief valve and if so how do you find it/ check it. The amount of water loss was about 1 fluid ounce after 10 miles.
