2hrs? did they offer you a tube of lube with that? ;)

Seriously, if I can manage it (in about an hour I'd guess, though it was a long while ago) it can't be that hard ;)

Just undo two bolts, slide it upward onto the steering shaft and it'll (with a bit of a jiggle) pop off the steering column end, then slide it off the steering shaft. Replace with a new one - hardest thing was having to do it three times before I ended up with the steering wheel pointing straight afterward ;)

Much easier if you have a 2nd person to hold the wheel still..

Piece of cake m8..

1hr Tops if you have never done it before. I have it down to under 10 mins to remove it.

Defo a DIY job, however to make it a little easier remove the oil filter. So you could do your oil change at the same time :D

Ok,did it,got the Z 3/4 in garage, jacked it up,my lad in drivers seat to hold steeing wheel straight, only small prob was some rust on spline slowing me down, would not pull off all the way, sprayed with WD and after couple minutes of it came, new one on, tighten up,drop Z,total time was a shade over 16 minutes, not bad :) Cheers guys,Tony

PS,garage would of cost me over £50
