has anyone fit 6*9 in the doors and do they fit easy or is there some cutting etc to do. any help before in attack it tomoz. thanks in advance graeme

no big problem if youve got a dremmel or something like that

do a template first

I managed to fit 6x9s, I removed the outer metalwork and made some small mdf mounting rings.

6-9 no probs but had to remove the steel baffle type thing,make sure you get the cut right coz you cant get bigger than 6-9 to hide the wrecked door card

i mounted 6x9's to the existing metal plates. had to grind them out & weld them up tho!

 

door card needs modifiying also.

 

it will depend on the speakers as well, some 6x9's are very deep & will not fit as the window wont clear them.

I had to fit two 3/4" packers between the door card and the door, for them to fit and clear the window
