have bought some new gauges for my car and was going through the usual "where shall I put them " thing and was wondering if anyone had thought of modifying the original instrument cluster. Either by removing the existing temp and boost gauges and replacing them or by totally redesigning the clocks to icude new gauges. I know that there is a PCB behind the clocks, but has anyone though of reworking this?

I see 1 car that had all the gauges put in the dash bord just above the glove box, looked neat! guess not that practical though

Have seen a couple of cars in the US where they removed all stock gauges including Rev counter and speedo, fitted an alloy plate covered in Carbon then installed all new Autometer ones, one guy fitted all new Deffi ones, looked real cool too imo
