I've spend quite a bit of money on my NA to make it feel just a little bit faster, but sofar I'm not impressed..

I've got a JWT-intake, JWT chip, Greddy PE exhaust and ASP underdrive-pulley.

According to the guys in the US, NOS is the only way to make the NA feel a lot faster.

But it only lasts for 10secs. and requires a lot (from your bankaccount and engine)

So just save the cash for a TT !

Zya,

Eric

Oops, sorry...this was meant as a reply to JR's question on how to upgrade an NA

Yes, I'll be upgrading to a TT (if I ever find one that's a manual and also in good condition)

I already had a TT, but the timingbelt snapped and I sold the car (also because I had lots of other problems with it..)

For the time being I have a Z32 NA..

I tried to upgrade it, hoping it would just feel a little more like a TT, but as I said I'm not impressed with the result..

But at least I used parts that I can use on my 'future' TT (apart from the chip) :-)

Lymon, what is NOS?

  • Author

NOS = spray, N2O, Nitrous

it's a gas that's pumped into the intake (sometimes mixed with extra fuel) and makes the fuel burn better/faster which can result in an incredible increase of power (up to 150bhp extra)

It demands a lot of your engine though and can only be used in short bursts (and usually only at WOT)

Zya,

Eric
