I was always under the impression I could add a second car to my policy, but it seems not!!

Now they want 488 for a 1.8 diesel estate (TPFT - nearly as much as insurance on my zed!!). ANyone know anyone who'll 'take into account' excess on another car (I've got 7 years) - I'm 24...

I did it with Axa last year, what they did was set another policy up for the 2nd vehicle, but ghosted my no-claims across. Going to try it with Houghton's next year!!

You got long to run on Adrian Flux policy?

until July!! And the cars an import/ i'm under 25 so there's little chance of swapping insurer!

Age against you aswell, dont know what to suggest, you could ring around and see if someone will insure you and both cars, if they will, you can put your existing policy on hold?? Got to be worth a try!

definately gonna try, but looks like i'll have to bite the bullet :(

It does ,sadley, how about insuring your main car with your full no-claims, and then asking companies about insuring your Z on a classic policy?
