Brake Judder

On the Nurburgring on Sunday morning.... 1st time I touched the brakes (not hard either), enormous front end judder - shook the whole car. It seems to have gone now, which is wierd! I know theres a a bit of balancing needed to the front wheels, but.....!

Any ideas , anyone?

Thanks

Ed

Could be a few different things. Balancing issue usually judders the car when not braking too. Common things to search for info on are warped front brake discs, stuck pistons in the front calipers or worn tension rod bushes.

Thanks Pete

The discs and pads are only about 3000 miles old. This judder has happened before but not to such a high degree. And now the thing feels fine again! Have to whip the wheels off and have a good poke around I reckon.

Cheers

Ed

Could be overnight rust patches forming on the discs. The first breaking may judder on the uneven surface then the rust is ground away.
