Guys,

 

If I remove the Autobox, torque convertor etc, can I still push the car around without it attached or does a rear engine mount come off with the gearbox that prevents the engine from being stable?

Shouldn't be a problem moving car around without the box in... when i did my gearbox there was no rear engine mount just the ones either side of engine..( plus the one on the box ) i think the sheer weight and lack of anywhere 4 the engine to go plus i don't think you will be pushing the car very fast.... best of luck

Thanks for that, no I (WE) wont be pushing the car far, just long enough to see if VMTP will contribute in any form to whats happened. Anyway, diddnt get chance to start yesterday so I will start tomorrow night after the 1st day in my new job!! :hyper:
