my heater matrix has gone ,,can anyone fit a new one in for me i have taken most the bits and screws off the dash but not removed it yet as not quiet sure how too as this is my first 300 auto,,plus i am too busy to get this job done in one hit and need the car done asap,,,,,so if anyone can come to romford and do this for me with my help i would be greatful and will pay of course thanks

First one is watter p1ssing all over you passenger or drivers foot well, losing water from your coolant system is another.

yes i got loads of water leaking into the the passengers foot well and when the engine gets hot so is the water

well, as that water is coming out of your cooling system, I wouldnt be driving the car too far bud

i stopped driving it as soon as i relised it was the heater its been a week now and still not got the dash off how many screws do they need to hold it in place

You can bypass the heater matrix on the engine side. It's a little fiddly, but do-able.

There arent that many screws, but there are a few clips. The matrix is held in bt half a dozen screws, but they are in awkward positions, which is why it is so difficult to do

I did one last week, BITCH OF A JOB! took two of us most of the day to do, the more dials and gadgets youve got the worse it is. Basically, the whole dash has to come out. There is a way of doing it without but i think its harder if not impossible! :(

well i got the dash nearly off just one screw left which is in the centre and right at the back what a bitch to reach seeing as i havent got ythe right tools either
