Ive got some Greddy chips to replace my central 20 one, but the central 20 one is soldered into place. any idea how much it will cost to get it out and get the onw one in.

Take it to a local video/tv repair place and they should do it for you for pennies. Ask them to remove your old chip and solder in a socket.

If you were down this way I'd have done it for you.

Yeah, Central20 are easy to remove, some of the nasty aftermarket people epoxy resin them in !

got a socket soldered into mine with new chip for £3 at a local video repair shop

How aggressive is this chip?

Is it more aggressive than the Mines one?

I haven't heard of this one before.
