Hi guys the timing on this is TBC however, we will be offering a wheel refurb service soon, in a range of finishes.

Prices are dependant upon the finish required but standard refurbs will be around 30.00 per wheel for club members. This does not include postage or tyre removal, so as per most alloy refurb people you will need to supply the wheels with tyres removed.

If anyone would be interested please let me know, as the usual price to other people out of the club will be 50-60 per wheel.

Cheers

Steve

Interested mate, depending on where you are, as the cost of posting to you may outweigh the extra involved in getting the guy to come to me. Good offer tho.

does he do powdercoating or chroming mate?

Thats good timing steve-o, i kerbed mine on the way to the

last reading meet :( , i can deliver them to you anyways, as

i'm just down the rd from you. Will probably want all 4 done.

How long does it take, as i've no other wheels to fit while

it's being done? Keep me informed mate. :)

I would be interested!! some garage idiot damaged two of mine and the other two had some minor marks on anyway, These have a highly lacquered finish so I dont know if its easy to match or not ?

IF it helps those asking about carriage-

Just as a guide I use a company called amtrak through my business they operate next day for 14.95 for the first ten kilos and then 2.10 for every kilo after and of course then VAT, this works out at about £28 for Fifty kilos, and if I remember right joe public can set up an account. this is of course each way though, I am sure there are a lot cheaper but unless you are a company you can struggle to get an account.

Got a set refurbed in gold as new with S02 Bridgestones on rears also as new and Avon ZZ1's on front as new. I have done hardly any milage on these tyres.

Ask friday he saw them last night.

Only want £300 for em and rubber is worth more than that.

Once Xmas is out of the way I'd definately be interested mate if postage isn't too much or better still if you can do same day refurb ie drive down early and drive back when finished! :)

I have small buckle on the front and a missing BBS center cap but am sure I could source one that could be matched to the others when refurbed.

Would the buckle be a problem or can it be sorted?

Hi guys,

Finishes TBC, however can do any colour / finish APART from chroming. By experience chrome finishes are crap and never last, and it is not worth the hastle for me. I want all the jobs that will be done to last and be good, short of having thick chrome plated / dipped wheels a normal chrome style coating never lasts.

All other finishes / colours will be fine (anthracite, titanium, silver, gold, black, white etc etc). Im getting up a colour chart and specs sheet this weekend, and im doing some wheels for neil following week so he will be able to feed back on service and quailty.

Dependent on costs atm 30.00 looks set to be the price each wheel for pretty much any colour apart from specialist stuff to club members only.

surface damage and kerbage can also be repaired, but depends on time involved as to if it will cost more, minor scratches, flakey paint, chips and missing chunks will be included to repair in normal price, heafty damage (large chunks missing bigger than several inches and very deep) may cost a little more but not a huge amount.

I cant make a square wheel round, if a wheel is unbalanced and flattened off, theres nothing I can do I am affraid.

I can remove tyres and refit and balance at extra cost, looking at around an extra 40 for full tyre removal refit and balance service, however this is very time consuming and I'd rather you guys get the wheels only to me so that I can do that. Im sure you all know people who can get them off cheap enough.

Area wise, im in swindon, Wiltshire, so junction 15-16 of the M4, or off the A419 or 420.

More details to follow at weekend, so i'll keep you all posted,

Cheers

I will be very interested in the near future.

Just a few questions.

One of my front wheels has a slight buckle. Will you be able to put it right for extra cost?

I also need a new BBS centre nut I have just bought sprayed to match the three original ones I have. Will this be possible?

I know the white, black and silver finishes are self explainatory but can u elaborate a bit on the High power black, titanium and polished finishes.

With the polished finish are the alloys actually polished or is it just an effect to mkake it look like they are to give it a similar look. I know proper polished alloys look the nuts but can be very hard work to look after in the winter with all the salt on the roads.

Cheers Stevo,

Hi Justin,

I'll dig out some piccies of the finishes we will be doing and post them up over the next few days.

The polished finish, is actually polished alloy, not painted or coated to look like they are polished.

We cant repair wheels that are out of shape. The only repairs are surface / rim damage, not structure.

I can colour match the paint from the other centre nuts you have, however I can only buy the paints in a minimum of 1/2 a litre, and to cover a centre peice would take a table spoon of paint (and some extra to feed it through the gun of course), so there would be a lot of wastage, this may incur a small charge extra, but more details on that subject to further enquiry on it.

Cheers

Hi,

I am interested too. Would like to see some pics of colours/finishes. Also how long will you need the wheels for as my Z is a daily drive and I need to get to work & back :( Dont suppose you do a same day turn around if I turn up with the car??

Cheers
