Could you list wheel & tyre size,

it all depends on how wide you go

I would say the best all rounder is a set of 18's 8 or 8.5 inch fronts with 235x40x18's and a set of 9.5's or 10's for the rear with either 265 or 275x35x18's

You can go 19's and thats what i have but the camber will affect the wear of the tyres in time so if you want bigger alloys 18's are a good bet

Cheers for that mate, cant you have the tracking and what have ya done to stop that on 19's?

well its a fact the bigger the wheels the more it cambers so the more uneven wear so i suppose its just one of those things, i think you can move the rears slightly but then your getting into rubbing on the arches then so its a cars of which is worse!! all i'm going to do is get the tyres swapped over after a few thousand miles to even it up :)

On 18"s mate, it happens too, especially if your car has been lowered, and lets be honest, how many people fit bigger alloys without lowering their car, not many at a guess!

You can fit adjustable upper link arms (£400 from Luke @ Zedcentre) and also adjustable lower tension arms (About £200 I think from the same place) and then get the car 4 wheel aligned like me, to stop the uneven wear Kirbz is talkign about. Alot of money to solve the problem I know, but if your planning on keeping the car for a while then its money well spent.

Cheers fellas will have to think all this over a bit! Will it eat tyres if i put 18's on then, i only use the car mainly at wkends...prob on average only do 4-5k a year, am i likely to go thru em you think?

Also Mark -> U got a shot of ur zorsts mate, i fancy gettin some 5" either side, but wondered what it would look like??

If you're trying to even up inside edge wear then remember that you can only do that if you have non directional tyres fitted - and there aren't that many performance tyres around that are non directional (S-03's, Toyo Proxes, Goodyear F1's etc are all directional)..

I'm sure you know that already though :)

yes if i was swapping the whole wheel!! but i'm not i will get the tyres taken off the alloys and swapped thus making it OK :) to answer the other question no it wont eat them that quickly mine does because it has been set up for max grip so the camber is slightly more!! the things we do for grip ;)

I havent mate, sorry, but if you do a search on the forum, you will see an old thread where someone wanted to see different size exhausts. If memory serves me correctly I think the post will be about 5 months old. Good luck. :)
