Hi,

Went up to the newly opened salvage auction at my bit today, looking for something small as the daughter will be 17 shortly.

There was a GTO with light front damage o/s, and a turbo scooby with vandalism paint damage.

Gto went for £620 and scooby went for £1000 !!

If they havent changed the link they can be viewed at;

http://www.northernsalvage.co.uk and click on 11.00pm sale public, then proceed to online auction catalogue.

GTO was a bit of a bargain !!

I havent heard anyone say "at my bit" since I left glasgow:) And you are right, that scubie would cost nothing to put right

About a month ago they had a 91 Celica GT4 turbo with only lock damage make £650- and they sold it!

I followed one of their salvage trucks a couple of months back taking a Zed TT with lock damage into the yard, it still hasn't come up in the sale though.

They also had a nice Prelude. It needed a wee bit doing to it though.

Still the 18" rims and rubber it was sitting on was worth the selling price of £480. :)

Arrived too late to secure a 99 Saxo for the bairn. It had been sitting behind another vehicle that was on fire and had a melted front bumper, 2 cracked lights and a broken screen (not part of the fire damage), 22,000mls, and it drove out for £360. :eek:
