Thats for fronts, the guy told me that the retail recomended price is £78 + Vat and that EBC do encourage their dealers to charge that, makes you wonder what the actual price is to the dealer if he will do em for £42 on 10 or more sets. Jeff TT

Further to the above - I have EBC Greenstuff fitted to the front and the stopping power is improved (but I find they can catch you out on first use until they are warmed up!)

They still chuck out shit loads of crap all over the front wheels tho frown.gif

I bunged Redstuff on mine and am quite pleased - luvverly stopping power for extended braking - I expect Greenstuff are good too - they need less time to warm up so should bite quicker for road use!

The guy told me he had a conversation with some tech chaps at EBC who advised him NOT to sell red stuff pads to joe public as when cold the pads (need warming up) may catch out an unsuspecting driver. However EBC have since denied this and say there is not a problem? hhmm. Anyhow he said the red pads

are £62:50 per pair or £52:50 for group buy. Jeff TT

At present I have carbon kevlar pads £129.99

for front pads.I find them excellent but I am

willing to try these green stuff pads to see

how they compare.Johnny do I detect another

group buy? Count me in mate!!!

Hi Jeff

The greenstuff pads I got with the discs Warren kindly supplied me work great. The brake dust is reduced slightly in use so I would recommend them. I will be interested to see how long mine last aswell.

Seez ya!

simon this is interesting that you shoudl say that, i put on ebc greenstuff, last year july. Not to sure of milage but here goes.

I drove from here to ROME. passed and did 6 laps of the nurburgring, Drove car back from ROME to here, went down to lemans, and back. And done Trax session. And generall driving aorund london to the tune of about 3000 miles, and i just replaced them so not to bad to be honest. and brake dust was better than normal

Well Warren, if I get half that amount of use out of them I will be a happy guy!!!. As I said in my last post the disc's and pads works fine. It's nice to have some confidence that the will car stop when I give it some stick.

Laterz

Simon H

Erm, what Warren describes does in no way mean you will stop on a penny if you give the car some stick. Didn't you see him at Trax and the Nurburgring biggrin.gif

Maybe he should take his Metro to the 'ring this time biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Andy

I realise that M8!!!just stating that they are a vast improvment on the shit that was on my car!!
