Thanks guys - OTOH, the garage that screwed up can expect the kind attentions of Trading Standards and, if necessary, Small Claims Court.

Bagins / ZTech thanks for the shoulder to cry on and the words of advice. I look forward to being able to book my car in for the ZTech treatment.

Dan Perkins Nissan in Slough (who I have used since Aug 99 when it was Rebuck) get tonight's brownie point award for a) booking my Z in on the day the other garage f***ed up; b) fixing it within 24 hours; c) providing a loan car with 3 hours notice.

I know there are Nissan Main Dealers out there who are, shall we say, not necessarily expert and helpful. But I am happy to pass on my good experience with these guys. The service manager even goes to Billing (sadly in a Honda but you can't have everything!)

Cheers All - Gio

PS - if you are tempted to book your pride and joy into Lucas Garage in Datchet, think carefully. I have recommended this place before and now regret it big time. Recommendation hereby withdrawn.

HI Gio

Must agree with you about Dan Perkins in Sluff..

Most Mandellas are shite but they have a ZX specialist there and are more than helpful.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
