What And Where

Recently bought my 300zx tt auto and I have the usual tick over/idle problem,

have read a load of threads about the PTU and connection being gunked and bent back over to much but can I buggery find the PTU, what is it and where is it. :confused: Is it anything to do with the ECU in the passenger footwell??

Any answers would be appreciated.
