£5 is a bloody good price, £1 is even better. £500 in nowhere near as good ;)

TBH I would SERIOUSLY consider getting a second opinion on this. NOT because of the price, people can charge whatever they want, afterall, BUT with damage like that to the chassis, in a MAJOR structural area, I'd be wondering if it was going to be safe afterwards....
