Light problem

Need some advice guys,

 

After installing a rear fog light for the MOT, weird stuff started to happen. When engine is turned off my boot gauge pulses and makes ticking noise under the bonnet, also the front fog lights stay on.

 

So needless to say when i go back to the car the next morning the battery is dead.

 

Anyway it passed the MOT and i thought if i just removed the wiring ect it would be ok, but it still does this things.

 

Any ideas??
