Can anybody identify this chip? Is it a standard chip or an after market one? It is in my ZX TT Auto and is a Jap Import.

Featured Replies

It has been socketed, and that doesnt look like a standard chip. As to which aftermarket chip it is ????

Does this mean I can add a boost controller and up the boost?

Get someone to have a look at the maps first. I had a similar chip in my Zed and when we looked at the maps it turned out to be very aggresive so I changed it for another chip.

Better to be safe than sorry IMHO

As the guys said best not to mess around with it if its running fine as it is then leave it if you want to up the boost etc then get another chip that you KNOW is mapped well and wont go bang!!

Try chris@getgreddy he does them as well as a few others

I have a spare Greddy chip if u want to buy one or even a Central 20 racing one buts thats quite agressive.

Mine had a chip like that (Jap TT Auto) When I looked at the maps, it turned out to be a 1992 Stock Euro code in it. the chip looked exactly like that one. So if i were you get it checked.

Could be anything. If you can get someone with a conZult to pull the program off and email me it I can tell you if it's OK for higher boost.

Is there anyone in the North West that has a conZult, or do you know of any companies that may have it. It would be much appreciated
