Anyone ever cut their rear tailgate spoiler as against fitting a tailgate skin or perspex panel. Any pics info please.

Well Mac1 has a fibreglass OEM replacement and a high level spoiler blended together, or at least it looks like he has. Have a look in his rides section.

Cheers Dave I dont know why i didnt see that as i've trawled the rides section looking for pics, the spoiler I have isnt as high as MAC's but I was gonna cut my old origional spoiler and refit it.

Cheers John

There was a standard spoiler which looked like an OEM with the edges cut of and a high level mounted over the top. Shahid has one on his car and I believe Goit has just bought one

Aye that I did mate :) it's a bomex jobbie or a bomex copy. Still haven't fitted it yet tho, waiting on shekels & trying to find a quality Body shop in this neck of the woods :)

Cheers lads, I might try and get a copy made of my spoiler with the centre brake light and cut it to suit, in the links on PPS's site my spoiler is like the one in the red 300 being kitted up amd i guess it light be easier to sell on my standard spoiler and fit a fibre glass copy to the car if it can be made cheaply (Mrs is giving me serious shit with regards to the car).

Thanks again......John Crisp

I have seen this done using the stock spoiler and it never looks right IMHO as blending fiberglass and foam don't work that well.

John I used the fiberglass replacement and chopped the ends off check my rides;)

Is there an echo in here?
