Seeing as no bugger can get a decent price for their zed lately selling privately...

Has anyone had an agreed part-ex value for their pride and joy?

Cheers

Pete

£2000 ? :nelson:

Problem with part-ex pricing is they take some off the inflated price of what they are selling - making you think you got so much when in fact you got diddly squat !

Wonder if a garage would want to buy one of these cars for cash (without you buying another car)......maybe only if they specialise in such cars - but doubt they'd give you much !

which is why UK zeds will soon be rare as rockin horse doo-dah !

I know they are not worth jack shit now a days, but to put things into perspective on buying cars and getting your money back when it comes to sell up just think..........................................

How much fun it has given you,and what if you bought a brand new Range Rover, kept it for 2 years and then sold it=     Now that is what you call a real kick in the *****cks!

Was talking to an importer the other day who seems to think the 300zx is now back in demand in Japan because those that bought the 350 are now selling them to buy back the 300s , this means that the 350's are getting cheap and the 300's are going up in value , can only be a good thing

True Iain true. Just they've taken a bit of a nosedive recently :(

perhaps this would slow up if we could get a few more quick ones doing events and winning or at least putting up a good show

Yep Ian you should have just bought a 2000 spec F1 car and shoe horned a Z body shell on and bingo 900bhp + proberbly cheeper and quicker. :D :mac1:

good point Iain - 300s are still cheap to buy - so even if prices take a dip - you still had an excellent car for relative peanuts :duffer:

ROFL probably

Jenson Buttons F1 car cost 5 million squids! FACT!

Anyone see him cain that works Fireblade on 5th Gear on Monday night? Yeah bike saw him off on the first quarter mile run coz Jenson had a problem with something electrical but then Honda Techy's just switched that bit off and on the next two runs he mullered the boat and the bike! Class!

At least with all the cars being broken, there will be a load of spares for the rest of us!

Mullered em big style. I thought the bike would be a bit closer and the boat was never in the reconing. the reason I said what I said to Mac is because I was looking in Prestige Motor classified section a couple of months back. This place had about 7 different F1 cars for sale a 2000 williams for 100,000 and last years Ferrari for 1,000,000
