I am having a new engine fitted, (unfortunatley for the second time) I have contacted MJP for gaskets but I am struggling to decide which ones I need.
The last time I had the unit fitted I thought i'd do it properly and only do it once :( so I bought a full engine gasket set even though the engine (long block)was ready built (The set was either £180 or £280 cant remember for sure but it was from nissan) the mechanic used very few and gave me more than half back saying he didnt need them as there was a lot for the engine itself.
Now I am having another engine fitted I dont want to do the same, but the mechanic has said get all the copper washers for the banjos on the EGR system and all the obvious ones etc.
so can anyone help me identify the kits needed, I suppose I will need the Plenium, EGR, exhaust, intake. but I am mistified to be honest, I know there are guys on the forum that change engine units, your help would be really appreciated. Thanks
Dave
