wow thats a fast beast. Somehow something makes me think that an engine twice the size of ours should be getting better performance than that though. Twice the engine and only marginally better performance.

What?...Your Z can get close to 3.7 secs 0-60 and 210mph?...You're having a giggle son!

Don't forget the Lambo engine is normally aspirated and de-tuned for road use! tongue.gif

no but lets see

3.0l vs 6.2l

24v vs 48v

V6 vs V12

im sure if the Z was as light as that batty machine then it would have not much trouble keeping up.

Hmmm, you've not driven a Lambo have you. Believe me it's an experience. Uncomfortable, with a wierd driving position, but strewth, things happen fast and the feedback through the steering and chassis is fantastic. Shame the gearbox is all backwards though - I nearly had a very nasty moment.

Yep, it's a blinder and no doubt about it. Just hope they don't go too far, like Porsche have, end up adding tons of weight in creature comforts and gizmos, and having to up the power massively - just to maintain performance. An old 911 is a cracking tool, but I'd still ove to try one of the new ones.

Lamborghini made a twin turbo version of the Diablo. Only a few made. 900bhp but they de-tuned it to 750bhp and is very reliable.

Lambo have never produced a twin turbo diable, Alhtough Koenig have, and in th estates there is one with a 1000bhp must be awsome

Yeah,

I dont think that it was Lamborghini that made the Twin Turbo.

Clarkey

According to the site above the new Lamborgini is heavier than our Z's

Here is the Twin Turbo car http://www.lambocars.com/framed/diablo/vttt.htm

Some very good information on there and very good pictures

i forgot to mention that lambos ruel when it comes to true sprots cars, not these red things called ferris or something biggrin.gif

I agree. There are no other sports car out there which is 100% grunt. Others cars are either trying to get into the same league as the Lamborghini (Porsche, Dodge, TVR) or steering away from it (Farrari)

If you want a car that looks as fast as it goes. Lamborghinis are the thing you want.

Loud, Fast and totally impractical.

Stuart

Have you seen the one make Lambo Diablo racing on the TV...Wicked!

Make mine an orange one with adjustable suspension to clear the speed humps smile.gif

What about the Pagani Zonda c12s -my favoutrite-

Koenigsegg cc (I think it is cc)

f40 or f50

**edit - Note Lambos are phenominal, one of the best sounding cars out there**

The Pagani exhausts are a bit Batmobile!

i have to say that lambos/most italian motors look stupid. I like the jap look, hence the 300. I have to agree with t3rbo, it looks batty with a stupid venetian blind on the back.

ever notice when a diablo is parked somewhere there are always people standing near it staring. And seeing one on the motorway is even better.

Italians certainly know how to make a car look good

Yes, a Z is nice, which is why we all love them...it's our little secret! wink.gif

But a Lamborghini is a dream..Lottery win sort of car...no comparison really!
