Wondering if anyone is going to Le Mans 2005?

There are a few of us from the Z Club going and we are planning to meet up for a burn up.........sorry drive on the Friday lunchtime around the circuit, then after the pit lane walk in the evening getting together for a few beers.

Anyone want to join us?

 

Also Sean is organising a weekend before Le Mans, this is roughly what we propose

 

Friday 10 June Welcome BBQ at site approx. one hour south of Le Mans (mobile homes for rent or you can camp) loire-holidays

Sat 11 Zed Track Day day near Nantes followed by evening (cine-scenie) at Puy du Fou

Sun 12 chill out/horse riding/ boule competition/swimming/drinking

Mon 13 day visit to Grand Parc du Puy du Fou

Tue 14 karting on an International Karting track http://www.boca-speed.com /touristic drive up to Le Mans and camp

Wed 15 tour around Le Mans - evening practice and qualifying

Thurs 16 tour around Le Mans - evening practice and qualifying

Fri 17 Go out for a drive of the circuit followed by Pit walk, meet up for drinkies in the village afterwards

Sat / Sun race

Mon drive home

 

I am in the process of costing this, people who are interested should drop either Sean seanz@wanadoo.fr or me suzy.huntley@bristol.ac.uk a line. You will need to sort out your own entrance and camping tickets for Le Mans (you need to do this very soon!!) but we will sort the rest. It shouldn't be too expensive since there will be a lots of packed lunches and our own BBQs

 

What more do you want? Any ideas or wishes?

 

So hope you can make the whole week or let me know if you are going to Le Mans and just want to meet up for a beer :duffer:

I'm planning to be out there for the week. Was going to take the Warrior but if there are other Z owners going I could be pursuaded to dig out my Euro cover RAC card.

Booked it a week or so ago, was there last year, what a great time! everyone should go, and make sure you get to the roundabout on the friday evening!!!!!! ;)

 

Took the Zed and was the only one there, the french did not know what it was, got loads of attention! :hyper:

Yeah will love to burn down the moulsan straight with some other Zeds!

I ve never been to le mans before, how/where do I get tickets from , what else do I need . would be good to tie up with some 300 owners and convoy it.

I'll post all the info on where i book. cost me about £160 all in. including ferry camping and ticket. may have been less but will put info up in a bit.

Its £340 for Ferry, camping , tickets based on two people one car, newhaven to dieppe crossing through continental car tours 0130 4380244.

 

So £170 each. I go the thursday to monday.

:hyper: I would like to go but theres no way my missus willstay in a tent. Did it for Moto G.P. & she said only hotels from now on :nono: She is a bit of a five star girl but I have got time to work on her. Think I will have to sell her Golf and get her a Zed of her own :D

I'm booked with continental car tours 0130 4380244 going out wed 15th at 9pm from Newhaven landing at Dieppe. Means we get there early thursday morning and get a good camping spot, quite a few of my lot going so want to reserve a big plot, and we are puting up a marquee and stuff with a generator so can have a fridge, lighting, music ect. We are booked into the Houx Annexe campsite, be good to have a few more Zeds on the drive and pitched up with us, should be a great time, loads of beer and BBQs.

So who is booked up on this?
