How the fook do you get these off?

with great difficulty!!

 

by memory i think the top two come off fairly easily but you have to take the water pump off to get the last one off!!

You'll need a long reach hex tool to undo the covers themselves. Plus fan, PTU, CAS and top water pipes (from memory) need to come off...

Just the 2 upper covers i'm trying to remove for painting. On the right one just now and i cant for the life of me remove the last bolt. (phillips/8mm in the bottom centre) To bloody awkward.

Got the right one of ok in the end. On the left one there is a screw right behind the top water pipe. What am i supposed to do ere then?

Only reason steve didnt break two of mine is cos I told him he wasnt allowed to "help" anymore
