Hi Guys,

 

My 93" Jap Zed has developed a problem with its Auto Gearbox when cold it does not want to change gear from 1st even if I use the gear select but after it as been running for about 20 mins its fine, at the same time this problem started to occured, a whistling noise from the passenger of the engine started it sound like air leak from the turbo but the turbo compression seems ok.

 

Also what started at about 60 mph it would just drop in to netural. :confused:

 

I have ran the diag's and everything seems ok, I have search the forum and other people have had the same problem in the past but have not put what they did to resolve the problem.

 

Any help would be great.

Sometimes resetting the ecu will do it as it resets the autobox too. Disconnect the battery for at least 2 hours.

 

It sometimes works.
