Guys,

 

Hoping someone has some good advice!

 

Here goes:

 

I was out on Sat night for a few beers and headed home around 2:30 am. I woke up at around Noon with a text from one of my mates asking why my 300ZX was sitting down from her road, as you would probably think this is a wind up. So i looked in my drive way and the car was not there, nightmare! So i got one of my mates to run me to my car, once i was there it was my car and i had a look around and there was no damage and nothing was stolen. So i thought it was one of my mates having a laugh even though it's not funny, as many of them know i usually keep the key in the car.

 

Next the police turn up at my door 11pm last night and charged me with failing to stop for bllue lights and speeding, which happened approx 3:50am!. I didn't know what to do so when they asked me " If there anything you want to say" i said no. I will try and get a solicitor today.

 

The police even put a statement on the local radio to see if there was any witnesses.

 

Really worried as my job depends on me having a licence.

No i walked home it takes around 10mins. I t was my old folk that heard me come in around 2:30.

 

Yes the text has the time and date also my mates are willing to say what happened and time's i.e when they ran me to my car. The police cars up here dont have video cameras in them.

 

I got my solicitor today and he says that i have a good case, he stressed that if i get pulled in for questioning tell them nothing, tell the police to call them.

i think you must be getting mixed up m8, you can't have been charged, as you CAN'T be questioned after being charged, so as your solicitor says

SOrry to butt in but Steve are you back in this country?? if so give me a bell and i will pop round with that VCD and have a look at your car as i havnt seen it since its been sprayed

Hi guys,

 

Story so far. I am back in court on the 12th of this month.

 

It got deffered when i was up last due to the Proc Fiscal feeling ill! when i was up last they offered me a plea bargin which was wreckless driving 6 points, which i refused cause why should i get done with something i never done!

 

Anyways my solicitor realises that the two police officers are at it cause they are both saying they saw me driving which is impossible.

 

What my solicitor has got in my defense is that my old man is going to testify that i was home and in my bed by 2:30am as i passed him on my way to bed, my friend is another witness to testify that she text me the next morning telling me where my car is, that's how i knew how to get to my car. Also my car is blacked out so it's hard to see who's driving through the day, let alone near impossible to see in the dark which it would have been at around 4am.

 

Really S***ing it now cause i know how twisted the police can be and i can't lose my licence cause i would lose my job and would miss not driving my 300ZX.

 

Is there anyone out there that has got any ideas to help me???
