I'm just in the process of fitting a pair of Konis up front with std springs.
However, I've noticed that the lower spring seat is slightly higher up the shock absorber than that on the one I'm replacing (by about an inch). This will give the spring more pre-load. Has anyone else noticed this with Konis.
By the way the shocks I'm replacing are ancient adjustable KYB's which might be different to standard shocks anyway.
