It disables the valve to 15% duty to give an increase in the revs for the balance test.

Now who is talking ***t disabling the valve will NOT increase rpm its so it cannot interfere with the test. which incidentally WILL not work correctly with the base idle set at 650 rpm it is too low for a valid power test.

No it disables CLOSED LOOP CONTROL of the valve and sets its duty at 15% - your own words so thats how I phrased it so you'd understand. This is to increase the revs for the power balance test not to stall the engine. At least you understand something...

According to yourself and in your words the ecu controls idle so quite how disabling the auxiliary air valve actually raises rpm is a mystery then?

Dave it also applies to stirrers as well :D but I really wouldn't enjoy it!

I've explained about my beer consumption. Surely I can get away with a moderate amount of stirring in the circumstances?

Now that gentlemen is the sign of an insecure person with possible doubts about his own sexuality, and interestingly as off topic TOPLESS the exact thing you were getting at.
