Help :( As chunk was setting my Boost controller up after JD had fitted it

The car is now alot faster as you would imagine, However !! the speedo reads well at low speeds about 30-80 mph but up from that we know the car is shifting alot quicker than she is reading ie: clock says 110mph but we know we are doing alot more than that...

Can anyone shed any light on this please, as i dont know how fast the car is actually doing......:(

The car has Jap clocks with the KMH-MPH conversion fitted.

What Matt is trying to say is.......

Upto about 80mph the speedo is reasonably accurate but over 90ish its way out.

eg reading 120 id guess real speed about 150+

Thanks

You can work it out from the rev counter.

5th gear in an manual tt is 25.6mph per thousand rpm. so 4000 is just over the point where you loose your license for a while!

Most likely the converter I'd say Matt.

Try getting another one and fitting that, or go for UK clocks.

:D Cheers for the answers guys, i have contacted Mike and hopefully he can get a set of UK clocks for me...;)
