where exactly does it leak ?

and does it leak on both driver and passengerside ?

It could be your window doesn't shut off properly and needs to be re-adjusted.

Lymon,

It's leaking on both side, I was only leaking one side before.

Not sure where the water is coming in yet, I'm going to get the hosepipe out later to find out.

How would I adjust the windows to shut off more??, could the seals on the actual panels need replacing, as I only did the one around the top of the car, if so any idea of the part no.

Any help gratefully received.

Regards

Mine does the same thing.. it seems to 'creep' down between the joins between the targa & the actual roof... Tried everything - doing the rubber treatment etc..

Maybe the window? But it seems more like it tracks between the two mating rubber seals..

Has the distance between the targa seals and the door seals increased at all considering the malulability of water.

In the front top-corners there should be a screw hidden under the seal.

Make sure the screw is there, otherwise it leaves a small gap between the seal and the metal.

Is the door hinged on properly. Sometimes after time the doors sag away from the hinges. Good test is to hold the door at the end, and lift it up and down. If there is a lot of movement, then you know the door needs adjusting.

Hi All

Had the targa tops in bits this afternoon, it looks like the seals were nakered after my respray and then wheren't changed like they should have been, so I need to order 2 new one fron Nissan, I have spoke to the garage that did the respray, but the head man wasn't there and still hasn't called me back, I think he knows I'm seriously pissed at him.

BTW does anybody know the part no. for those seals??

Regards

JOHN
