Hi all

Just sorting some bits on the zed today I noticed this pipe which had rubbed in two on the tyre due to no wheel arch liner being on.

I fixed it but can anyone identify what it is? :) And what effect would a break in it would have?

It runs from a small unit (pictured) down by the intercooler (driv side), over the wheel arch and up into the engine bay amongst the mass of pipes by the small fuse box I think.

Cheers

Hi Jeff

Hmm I thought this first of all, although my washers are disconnected at the moment because of the temporary bonnet, the water came out.. ahem.. elsewhere when I tried it.

Radiator overflow pipe quite possibly (as that goes in to the bottom of the radiator overflow tank).. Bit hard to tell.. Could also be related to the carbon canister setup - would help if you knew where the other end went ;)

No. As jeff said its the washer bottle pipe. It does have two outlets though, one for the windscreen and one for the rear washer. Well at least on a j spec it does. Had to replace mine some time ago as the motor leaked.
