During the winter im plaining on fitting some new turbos and injectors, my mods on the engine so far are HKS super drager exshaust, HKS filters, Unichip piggyback ecu, greddy profec e-01, lightened flywheel and underdrive pulley, HKS bov's, Pace front mounted intercooler, Max series clutch, what turbos and injectors would be best for my car, the engine internally is standard, can a rough 550/600bhp be achived from standard internals on an engine?

i recomend the td-05 kit but is expensive. U can choose also from hks ,jwt,pe and Z1 motorsports is selling a kit now which is cheaper than the others but dont know what capabilities it has.

 

if u go for 555cc injectors they'll cover ur hp range as for the internals i say u have to change them but a lot of other say no

Even though in the states this has been done with standard internals i'm sorry to open an old can of worms but i still have to say no or if you did it wouldnt last very long. From my own experience i was running approx 450 rwhp and blew a piston with no det!! macca did the same so if your going for big tubs, injectors then do it properly and get the bottom end done first

I'm running 400RWHP and it's definately starting to smoke more... :(

I was hoping to get another 50BHP out of it with a tuning session at Thor but I think I'm going to keep it as it is for now.

555's are gonna be maxed out, at 600bhp (if they even reach that). much safer to go for 720's/850's

Basic working out gives

 

Injector size=rwhp

 

Just a rough guide but it works pretty well ;)
