Battery replacement

Hi folks -

 

I want to replace the battery on my 92' TT UK Zed - what type should I be looking for and what's the going £rate ?

I got mine from Harrys 585 Cca but mine is an import so not much help to you. Just make sure the CCA is about the same.

 

There is a lot of posts on batteries so you may find it useful to do a search.

I put in a Halfords calcium one on my uk tt and its much smaller for the same amps. Was only £45 on some 20% off offer at the time. I chucked the case with the polystyrene heat shield etc and I think that was a bad idea. The turbo on that side really cooks the side of the battery and you need to have some kind of heat insulation there or the battery wont last long. I put in a barrier to shield the battery again.
