DTA Engine Management System..Soo cool.

Guys this DTA software is so tempting.

You can change any parameters to the car. Traction, boost, rpms, fuel maps...everything

I have just purchased a brand new JWT ECU tuned for 98 Octanes. I just hoped that I there was a software from JWT to allow me to change the parameters of the car in Real time.

Maybe when I change my Turbos and injectors I'll buy the DTA as well. smile.gif)

There is s/w for doing this. You can buy it from Racelogic. Kind of need to know what you're doing tho !

How much was your JWT ECU ?

Yeah - you need a rolling road, or at the very least a wideband O2 sensor (ok, two), and many years of experience..

The concensus on the US boards is don't bother.. Two people have fitted them, and *neither* car actually runs half decent yet.. One was fitted over a year ago! And they still haven't managed to get it set up and running properly..

My ECU costs something about $1200 including shipping. I have payed the core $500 because I didnt want to be without ECU. Now I got the new one I will send them mine and get a $500 refund.

I also got the SBC-ID Blitz boost controller and the PowerMeter (brand new) for $700 dollars from a TT.net member. He had 3 sets and I got the one. smile.gif

Just check the RaceLogic software. I will definetely learn more infos about. I will need something like that at some stage because I am planning to go up to 600/700 Hp.

Ohh....I am a daily driver as well.

Speed is a passion that can lead to madness.

Simple as it sounds smile.gif

you could go the route of a LINK-ecu...is about the same thing as the DTA.

I heard positive stories about it on the Aussi-forum (www.aus300zx.com)

It's a lot cheaper then the DTA as well.
