Like the title says, just wondering which makes are made of polyurethane as oppose to fibreglass? If I were to swap my front end for something else, due to the car being soooo low (speed bumps are a major problem and multi-storey car parks have to be avoided  ;) ), I'd have to go for the flexibility of poly as fibreglass wouldn't last five minutes. I'm pretty sure the '99 spec and Wings West bumpers are poly but anyone know of any others?

Cheers,

Leigh.

Wings West= the King Of Kits

Correct

But half the Wings West and Stillen jobbies are fibreglass copies anyway ! LOL

So, let me get this right, with the original Wings West kit being phased out, there's only going to be two P.U. front ends available on the market!? That is a stupidly low figure for a car like ours! How about some of the JDM tuning houses, do any of them produce poly kits (I know JUN makes a nice kit but yet again it's FRP:()?

Leigh will possibly sell this kit at the right price ;)

You can also source a copy Greddy front in urethane, quite a few guys in the US now have them.

Then double the price to ship :(

Is there any reason why someone couldn't make poly copies of these?

cost :( but if there was a market for them i cant see any reason why not, although i know people will always take the cheaper option, it's just a fact of life.

Think the pentroof one is urethane too.

Cheers for that John, like I said on the phone, wasn't even aware they made ground effects kits! And just been checking out Taka Kaira...if only we didn't have to suffer import duty! Can't seem to find a pic of the Pentroof kit though...anyone got one or a link to one?

Looks a bit too much like a snout to me :p

Cheers for the pic Chris! I guess the "snout" is there for aerodynamic purposes. In a weird way I kinda like it!

The Pentroof also has some kinda difusser underneath the front, fancied one of these meself sometime ago.

Oh and importing is not cheap as Chris says, i sourced a full kit cos i wanted the front bumper only, cost me over 200 quid to get it released once it landed down south and that was supposed to come by air :(

Ouch. Shame there isn't a Pentroof distributor in the UK! :(
