Hi, I still have CATS fitted, but from the cats back - all is mongoose. Now I know the danger's associated with removing the CATS - but what about if I remove the silencer boxes - and leave the cats? This will give me clear pipes from the CATs to the tips! ny advantage/disadvantage? As I have just had the whole interior double [sound] insulated - I am now ready for some more 'noise'!! Any experience guys n girls??

Aren't the mongoose silencers''straight through''-save a bit of wadding!

If this is the case then I can't see any advantage, just more noise-the cats are the restrictive part of the systemHTH ;)

you can remove the cat-back and it will still be pretty quiet, the cats need to be removed to make any serious noise, and zeds with straight through exhausts sound like engineering perfection, anyone hear kash's zed at billing, damn that thing sounded gorgeous, still pretty quiet though, the turbo's must really muffle the sound, if you put a straight pipe on an NA it would be deafening, I know ive tried it ;)
