mph/kmh - speedo change

I have just bought a new jap turbo z. i was wonderin if anyone had any ideas of the best thing to do with regards to changin the speedo. do i just buy a sticker from somewhere or what. I thought i could be real cunning and just get a little mph sticker to cover up the kph sticker, on the key, of the speedo.

or whatever.

cheers,

to keep original dial you will need a delimiter, this will convert the kmph to mph and derestrict you 115mph speed limit (and yes just put a sticker over kmph)

OR you can just get a mph dial and swap the two over...

* If you go for the latter i have a mph dial that I'm willing to swap for a kmph one!

so, does anyone know of any decent sites or numbers of companies that can sort me out with either a de-limiter kit or just some mph stickers

?

try euro-spec or z centre but your looking at £100+; got mine via another member...

It's illegal to just put MPH sticker over kmph dial without de limiter (your dial will still be doing/showing kmph so you'll have to drive very carefully using the inside MPH grid, and it probally won't pass MOT)

MPH sticker can be made up via pc...

I have a Jap spec TT with documentation from previous owner that it has a Blitz ' speed jumper fitted'. Even so the speedo is still showing kph but has stickers placed at 10 mph intervals on the perspex cover - Is this car ready for a MPH sticker/face on the speedo?. Apparently it is connected to the ECU under the wooden panel. The unit has 4 wires.

Yellow and green wires from speed jumper unit is connected in 'series' with the road imput to the ECU. The red is connected to a 12v supply and a black wire to Ground.
