Nice looking Zed mate - I was in the dark blue SWB going towards Ripon. Had just enjoyed a blast with the Targa panels off and was heading back into the city for an ice-cream in the Market Square.

Dark blue it looked more like black to me. But then I only just saw you in time to wave. Do you live in Ripon then? Not far away myself (Boroughbridge). Will stop for a natter next time.

Yep - have lived in Ripon for 8 years now, work at Dishforth. My car's due it's MOT soon - recommend anywhere?? Use the Zed as a daily driver so needs to be looked after. It's a 1991, SWB, NA, Manual, Jap import - standard apart from de-catted SS exhaust, Sony Flip Front Stereo and security.

Will have to meet up for a chat sometime

Any particular weaknesses or common failures for a ZX MOT??

 

Have no rear fog at the moment - will this be a problem??

 

Also reversing lights not working - would this be a failure??
