congrats mate. That doesn't look like th estandrd nissan red. Looks more like a sunburst, has it already had a respray ?. Font bumpers cool ;)

hey stu, don't know abt the colour but i dont like it it needs a respray as the front bonnet, side wing and the front bumper are different types of red. your the first one that likes the front bumper, few of my mate that have seen it don't like it at all.

i heard your cars just on next level and likes going side wayzzz (from fas) :)

i had general Q's for The Zed Crew.

1) is it better with or without the hicas system?

2) which brakes are used most the front or back? is it worth changeing the front brakes.

3) whats the best chip (ecu) for the 300zx?

-T-

I reckon a respray in something other than shocking pink (probably just the camera/my screen, but it does look a tad pink :D ) and that'll be a really nice looking car.. Maybe add a vented centre panel to match the bumper & bonnet, and some '99 style rear lights to lose the amber.. Then you'll have a nice, clean, slightly understated car.. nice :)

1) Depends what you want to do - drifting & drag work, lose the HICAS.. track work, I'm undecided.

2) Front (same on every car I believe), and yes - though uprated pads will do a lot, you can't go wrong with a nice big brake upgrade..

3) Good question - I'll pass on that one ;)

Dude,

Unless the engine was cold when the pic was taken I'd say you have an idle problem!! (I think I can see the temp needle is at mid range!)

It's at 1500rpm with no one touching the fun peddle....

i have to get it checked out that means. what do you guys think it could be. it goes up for a few seconds then back to normal idle when the car is Stationary.

LOL! if you mean coolant flow goes upwards in the rad then we've got a serious physics problem!!

water flows down in a rad cos as the water enters the top of the rad, it is cooled. cool water is more dense thus the downward flow ;)

think he ment the idle goes up to cool it down Paul ;)

still *****cks though

His car seems to idle high alot of the time and the inside of the car seems get rather warm compared to my Zed and it seems to do idle higher when the rad turns on and also his temp gauge sits a little higer then my one, cant seem to figure what the prob is.

Fas

looks great, has the jap racer look going on, I like it. Your best bet for sorting the idle problem is having a conzult check done, will show up any dodgy sensor readings which could be causing it. Other than that it can only really be dirty throttle bodies. Might also be bad wiring connections, but a conzult should show up any problems quickly and easily with minimal faffing about.

LOL!! oh, ok! - yup, still b*****s
