ime running a 93 jap tt with a dual cat back 5", will my motor benifit from removing the cats and replacing them with sections of pipe?? i know this could be a m o t crisis but lets live on the wild side hey!!!

Cat removal will improve breathing, and hence performance but there is a risk of early turbo failure through weakened oil seals due to reduced back pressure. I guess it really depends on what sort of condition your turbo's are in(and/or how many miles they have done.)

Also, I belive that the MOT stations don't have any Info on the 300zx Cat emissions, and therefore cats not required, even after 92.

is that fact to your above statment as today i was doing an oil change on me zed and noticed there are no cats or precats my car is a late 92 :confused:
