hi there friend!

my name is jason, reason I am writing you is because I found your site in Japanese performance mag, I actually live in spain but will soon move to england,

I am a fanatic lover of the fairlady 300zx, currently I drive a corrado vr6 but am thinking to buy a nissan 300,

i prefer the old model that is before the newest 350Z wich personally don´t like.

There a couple questions I have; ok- it is hard to search for this car and get a good deal, I know this, many people tell me not to buy it because the twin turbo gave lots of problems, but i am not listening since I love the car and I have to get it lol....

even if its not a turbo model, see, the thing is, I love the 2 seater version and that version is most likely distributed in the US, but I have a japan brochure of the car and there was also some 2 seaters in japan- my question is is there any possibly way to obtain a 2 seater living in the UK?

I´ve quoted to some company who are expert in importing on auctions like newera and bonsai,

newera sucks! they don´t even care to bring you this car because miguel the guy who sells to the world that he is great and brings any car you want thinks that nissan 300zx is a car that gives lots of problems so I was like bullshit forget it; I aint doing any business with ya guys!

so now I would like to quote qith bonsai, what do you think? if you were to get your nissan through these sites would you do it? or would you prefer to get it based in the uk? where you can see the car??

and how about shipping it from the us to uk? u have any idea of anyone who ahs bought it in the states and then shipped it to the uk? is it a lot of hasstle?

the us versions are so beautiful!

hope to hear from youall really need help! on these questions and doubts

Sincerely

j

welcome to the forum mate

there are plenty of 2 seaters to be had in the uk, many probably dont list them as 2 seaters, it will say swb (short wheel base) so forget getting someone to import you one specially, look at the well looked after versions on this forum first:)

Hello matey, welcome to the site!

Try looking on http://www.japcity.com this is where

i got mine from. Kent Terry is the guy who runs

it, nice chap. He'll be able to source you one, he

ain't the cheapest, but its good stock, not heard

any complaints about him yet.

 Would love to know where all these are mate... as i searched hi and low for one..... Then had one imported.....:D

You asked this question before a few years ago. Let us try to explain again: US cars, like continental European cars, drive on the RIGHT. UK cars, like Japanese cars, drive on the LEFT. US cars are LHD and UK cars are RHD.

So - why on earth would you want to import a US car to the UK? Or - as you said the last time - why on earth would you want to import a J-spec car into the UK to be shipped to Spain?

Think you need to read it again.... :slap:

not sure m8, i just assumed they were a lot more availbale now, ive seen 2-3 people this week saying they have bought swb, but ive never really took a lot of notice, so i guess your probably right and they may have been searching a while for the right car;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Thought this poster rang bells -

And according to his sig(s) he's in Sweden and Kent and (over in the ZClub) Luton. http://www.zclub.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2482

And he says he lives in Spain.

Oh and here he calls himself "jason" and over there he calls himself "cherry"

Is it a troll or a windup or someone from one of the importers trying to spread rumours about one of the other importers or someone trying to get the forum to say something nasty about one of the importers or dense or just a CWOFT?
