I have a 1992 ZXTT, when ever i try to floor it the turbo guage stay's in minus? It doesn't even reach 0, I checked for air leaks but nothing found. I don't know if the turbo is nakered, the car doesn't smoke and drive's fine, just without the turbo's kicking in. I got under the car and revved it up and found that the accuaters don't move, but i'm not pretty sure what that would imply? I don't think the intercoolers are blooked. Any idea's??

Sounds like you could have a seized turbo if this is the case you will not be able to get positive boost

Most turbos cars struggle to get into positivie boost when stationary as there is no load on the engine, so that maybe why your actuators aren't moving?

Spot on mate, both turbo's were seized, the fin's were solid no play at all. I got a 14mm socket on the turbo and managed to get a turn on it, fortunatley with a few mate's help managed to unseize both turbo's. :xxx: Car's running lovely now. Cheer's for the advice, the turbo's must have got seized while the car was being transported from Japan.:) I thought the MR2 backend was fun but i'm luvin the sideways on the ZX!

Well done to that man for unseizing your Turbos, I've never heard of that one before, how long was the car standing for them to seize up ??? must have been a bloody long time ?

Ryan's advice there must be worth the $20 subsciption. Do it and get all the other benefits. Glad it's sorted.
