After some impromptu modifying by a Fiat Punto on Sunday, the rear of my Zed needs some major work. :( Looking on the bright side, this is the perfect time to sort my tail lights out.:D Was wondering if people wouldn't mind posting pics of their fiat/"lambo"/LED conversions as I don't think I'm alone in thinking it would be interesting to see a side by side comparison, both from a "looks" point of view and for size (I mean, how much actually bigger are the lambo lights compared to the Fiat units?). Maybe a shot straight on of the whole back end, a close-up and a three-quarters view? Would be really appreciated guys :)

Cheers,

Leigh.

I really like 'em, I'm gonna convert my left reflector in the bumper to a reverse light, as I did'nt want the odd clear one on it's own.

They do look cool when lit up at night as well....

cheers Jon.

Cheers mate, those are exactly the kind of pics I needed! They do look good  Comparing them to Duffs, they definately are bigger, but there's not a huge amount in it :) Think out of the two I prefer the Lambo-look lights TBH.

Heh - they probably just don't want people sticking their (rather nice) lights on the 'wrong' car.. ;) Very few of them do their own mechanical work too..

How about these then:

Cant go wrong with '99 spec if you ask me.. mmm, clean.

oh poo, I was really trying not to spend any more money on bits this week, now I'm going to have to buy some '99 spec rears or maybe the lambo lights.... ya *******s!! :)

I bought the kit from Luke at the Z centre. Mine was the first kit he sold so the molding may be better than it was, because I had to saw the backs off and make new so the lights would sit properly. + I hate the cleart lenses because they look like the car is coming backwards so I used bulb paint and then laqured them. Lukes kit is £290+ VAT or the lights are £249.60 from Demon Tweeks and make your own pannels.

or how about these - couldn't get clearer than this!

Good taste Gio.. the clearcorners.com LED rear lights are a work of art..

Last I checked, though, they wouldn't ship to the UK :(

Plus people on TTnet seem to have a hard time getting hold of them..

They *are* very nice though..

I fitted the Fiat ones to a Ginetta G27. To save money on the expensive housings etc. I just bought the lights and then went to B&Q to get some drainage pipe as a housing. A bit of glue and fibreglass later - ALL DONE! And a heck of a lot cheaper than buying the whole aseembly (and a perfect fit!)

or how about these - couldn't get clearer than this!

Now THEY look awesome !

Hmm, I wonder if we could convince Luke.......... :)
