I have replaced my vented headlamp nose panel for a blank debadged one.

People are saying that you need the vented one to let more air in?

Surely theres enough air to be sucked in that is cool from the vents in the bumper etc.

I thought the vent was purely for looks?

Perhaps if the car is running bigger tubs etc fair dos, but surely the induction kit can suck enough air in for a lightly modded zed.

You're right Jay - vented panels are "mostly" for show although it does allow more air to pass over the induction kit. However, it could also let in more water and ruin your filter and/or afm. There is plenty of air that comes through the front bumper as well as from the side vents which fed the original airbox so don't worry about your non-vented panel not letting in enough air ... load of non-sense.

Cheers!

Absolutely, that's why the stock panel is not vented ;)

Plus, the air filter sits on or below the bumper line so air is taken in via the scoop below the number plate anyway....

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
