That is a very good point. Better check every thing really.

Remember to wrap up nice and warm too.

Also remember to turn off the traction, run at last 2bar and always enter the high street sideways. smile.gif

Must get a matching set of Hat, Gloves and scarf for the Z.

Arrrrh....all rapped up nice and warm, with a glove on each wheel a hat on the T-tops and a scarf lovingly wrapped around the bonnet.....(you'll have to exscuse me as I am still piffed from last night!)

Makes you all warm inside....

Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce... (sorry no sound!) LOL

Don't forget to fit snow chains at the first sign of frost or just leave the Z garaged for half the year...

What anti-freeze should I use - heard something about the wrong stuff corroding radiators? I've had a few overheating problems and so no green stuff in my radiator at the moment...

Premixed antifreeze and soft water.

4Life (v. expensive) or Comma Coldstream are excellent:

the only type of antifreeze to use should be made up of ethylene glycol and not methanol mixed. as the ethylene has anti-corrosion inhibitors and also acts as a summer coolant which you can leave in for a couple of years.the make of manufacturer is not as important, I USE CASTROL OR BLUECOLL.

Alternativly i could just head out for South Africa biggrin.gif

as my heater matrix breaks with such amazing frequency i never need to worry about yearly changes of antifreeze as middlehursts change it every eight months along with the matrix lol
