As you may have noticed, there are two excellent TTs for sale in the boards at the moment, one an auto and one a manual.

 

I have an auto NA at the moment. I quite like the auto box, but must say I'm veering more towards getting a manual in my envisaged upgrade buy to a TT.

 

Has anyone owned both Manual and Auto, and which is more fun ("fun" being one of my main criteria, to take the edge off going to work in the morning!).

 

I understand Autos are quicker in pull-off, but which would be quicker over the quarter mile?

Real world, traffic jam 90% of the journey with a nice little burn at either end of the trip? get an auto! (I did)

 

Drag strip, sunday driving, race track Manuell all the way baby! (that is of course if you can find a good one, which seem to be pretty rare!) Nothing like a bit of engine braking into a corner then the wicked response of 2nd or 3rd on the way out, mind blowing!!! (instead of shoe to the floor, wait a second or two, then blast off like in the auto, not so controlled!!) :)

Lol I was pissed last night I meant that the other way around but you already said it lmao! then I meant it would be good if we could find a copy of their wiring schematic would be easier? does that make sense? lol

well to be honest when i was looking to buy my zed it was a manual i was looking for, but i couldent find any good ones anywhere so i settled for an auto, really glad i did too, sorry man boys !! yeep the auto is great and lovely to drive expecially with overdrive off !!

 

0-60 man is faster

0-100 auto is faster

 

like sgt c says drive both of them and see which one is the best for ya!!
