recently my zed has developed a high pitched chirp/squeek when changing between 2nd and 3rd ,from the auto box. :x:

sounds like a pressure release of some sort, can anyone shed a little light on this for me

Goose honk? do a search on that mate should turn up some stuff.

i have no turbo's i don't think its goose honk.

it happens worse if i slightly lift of the throttle right in the middle of it changing gear

at high revs

If you can find someone local with a ConZult get a line pressure done ASAP. I dont recommend driving it , as one of my buddys recently had the same problem. His box is now on the floor in my workshop.... :cry:

Could be that third gear clutch is on its way out, and the noise is the clutch plates slipping slightly, whats the colour and smell of the oil like?
