Hi Z ers,

New to this site, got UK car of course with a few mods.

My ECU gives out code 34 which is det sensor. Run ECU in diag mode and check engine light flashes on and off at light throttle. After swithing off IGN and back on get code 34. Tried resetting ECU but no change.

Have had PR @ SE do a quick road test but as sods law dictates my car behaved itself.

Any ideas guys. I have tried TT net but they all have US cars maybe UK cars ECU different I dunno.

Thanks in advance

Crazy Eddie ;-)

You have a faulty det sensor or there is a fault in the det sensor circuit. Quite common. Go back to TT.net and check their FAQ/TECH. There is a write up on how to diagnose and bypass! is you wish. Its a FPITA if the want to replace the sensor. Its in the block. I have the same problem but i'm gunna bypass it. This has risks though because you become responsible for listening out for knocking!

There is a big grey connector at the top/back of the engine bay that joins the loom to the det sensor. Check it out..., check for any rust and WD40 it.
