    Did any one watch the programme "The Man In The Van" talking about that. If this happens, get a pictures of the hole, position on the road, and of the damage. Also get something in the picture that shows the size of it, put your mobile next to it or your wallet, something so you can compair the size, and then goto the council with your evidence.
